WHISPERS

The man whispered, "GOD, speak to me".

And a meadowlark sang.

But the man did not hear.

So the man yelled, "GOD speak to me"

and the thunder rolled across the sky.

But the man did not listen.

And the man shouted

"GOD show me a miracle".

And a child was born.

But the man did not notice.

The man cried out in despair,

"Touch me GOD, and let me know your are here".

Whereupon, GOD reached down and touched him.

The man just brushed the butterfly away.

The man cried,

"GOD, I need your help".

An email arrived with good news and encouragement.

But the man deleted it and continued crying.

Please be patient, I think

one of the greatest things to happen to me is age.

For with age came understanding and feelings

You do not know what beauty is

until you can look at

a dog, a tree or some one

and see beauty, but please

do not mistake pretty for beauty

for it is very seldom together

but  you probably need

age with understanding and feelings

to know this.
